FLORAL TIPS’s n TRICKS
Instructor Gary Smith
BONUS : GARY’S SECRET FLORAL SHADOW LIGHTS
WARNING: This will NOT be your usual Let’s enjoy a sunny day in the garden and pass the time leisurely painting flowers. Oh no. It will be a vigorous workout! You won’t likely finish paintings (you can do that at home) but you will start a few and paint as fast as you can so they will serve as your notes.
OBJECTIVE: Instead of taking home a finished painting you will go home inspired by ideas and special colours.
PROCESS: We will only have 4 hours including the break with lots to cover so the repeated process will be a small fast warm up from a photo, follow by a tip or trick demo from imagination then you start a painting in the same fashion.

BIOGRAPHY
As for my credentials I started working as a pastel portrait artist at Expo ’67 and have done well over 3,000 portraits since then in Canada, France, China and even on a Mediterranean Cruise as Arist-in-Residence. Nice life being an artist. While in China at a special multicultural banquet, a Provincial Premier of China was sitting beside me. After dining and then drinking my agent walked up to him and asked him if he would like to be drawn by Gary Smith? He answered enthusiastically with, Yes however I have only 5 minutes to spare! He kept me to that limit, and I will tell you the rest of that
story became such incredibly good promotion for me in China. For anyone who is more curious about my art please check out www.escapewithgary.com, and if you are curious about how good my portrait students get with my five course curriculum, please visit art-escapes.com. Gary is an official instructor for Golden Acrylics
