“St. John’s City of Colour” is a unique work of art achieved by 25 members of the Art Association of Newfoundland and Labrador celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2010.
The work consists of 28 individual pieces. The artists were given a 25mm (1”) x 37.5 (1.5”) section of the overall image with no other instruction than to paint what they saw, with their medium of choice on canvas panels.
The overall size of the image (not framed), is 1.8 m (70”) long x 1.2 m (32”) high.
